Yes. In the UK it is legal to own and fit a mileage blocker. It is designed for track days, dyno testing, tuning and off-road use. What is not legal is using one to misrepresent a car’s true mileage, for example when you sell it, or on a lease or finance agreement.

Why use a supercar mileage blocker on track days and at the dyno?

Track sessions, dyno runs and development work can add a lot of distance in a short time. A blocker pauses mileage recording while it is switched on, so test and circuit miles aren’t added to the odometer. Keep a simple log of those miles.

Will it damage my car or leave a mark?
