When Is Mileage Correction Needed?
Replacement instrument cluster
A new or second-hand cluster shows a different mileage from the car. We set it to the car's true mileage.
Repaired or faulty cluster
A cluster that has lost or corrupted its mileage after a fault or repair.
Module mismatch
Replacement modules, such as a DSG mechatronic gearbox unit, that hold a different mileage from the rest of the car.
Dash upgrades
Fitting a different or upgraded cluster, matched to the mileage the car has actually covered.
Our Mileage Correction Policy
- We only set the mileage to the vehicle's true mileage, verified from MOT history, service records or the original cluster or module.
- We never reduce a vehicle's mileage below what it has actually covered.
- We record every job: registration, date, the readings before and after, and the evidence used.
- We'll turn down any job that would misrepresent a vehicle's mileage.
